B2B purchasing and administration system

FACC needed to modernize its online purchasing system for the organizations affiliated to it. The existing process was inefficient, which made day-to-day operations harder for the consumer co-ops that rely on the Federation to stock up.

We took on the project in three stages: first, thorough research into the existing system to pinpoint what could be improved; then UX/UI design, with wireframes and a complete redesign of the interface; and finally development, with a backend in Python and a frontend in React and Node.js.

The system went into production and is in active use by the affiliated co-ops. The purchasing experience improved markedly over the previous system, and Cooperativa Obrera went on to keep optimizing its processes with the tool we built.
