The institution was working with financial information spread across multiple systems with no integration between them. Each product lived on a different platform, reporting was put together by hand, and regulatory compliance depended on fragile processes that were hard to audit. The lack of a unified view created operational risk and limited the institution's ability to make decisions.

Implement a repository that centralizes the information and applies successive layers of specific business rules to meet regulatory requirements. Adding new data sources had to be flexible and configurable.

We designed and built from scratch a financial consolidation platform that unified the information from every system in the institution. Business rules were defined around regulatory compliance, report generation was automated, and a scalable, flexible architecture was built, ready to take on new data sources as the business grows. It produces the information needed to comply with Minimum Capital Requirements, Minimum Cash Reserves, Debtors of the Financial System, Large Exposures and IFRS.
