Mamuschka — Online Store

Software development

What was this project about?

Selling premium chocolate online in a country the size of Argentina poses a critical logistical challenge: protecting the cold chain and the delicacy of the product. Mamuschka wanted to grow its digital channel, but faced the complexity of fragmented stock and logistics: some products are only available for local pickup or delivery, while others ship nationwide from its new distribution center in Buenos Aires. The brand needed a robust, dynamic solution able to: segment the catalog so that stock from the Buenos Aires distribution center is shown across the country, except in towns with physical stores; integrate with its ERP (Tango), respecting the existing structures for warehousing, stock updates and price lists; and offer commercial flexibility: the business needed complete versatility to create complex promotions, dynamic coupons and seasonal campaigns.

Animus built its e-commerce platform from scratch: a store with availability logic based on geographic zone, because not every product can be shipped everywhere in the country. The checkout detects the buyer's postal code and adjusts the catalog, shipping methods and payment options accordingly. The project involved integrating multiple external systems: real-time stock synchronization with its ERP (Tango), two different couriers (Andreani and Rappi Cargo) and two payment providers (Mercado Pago and Fiserv). Alongside the storefront, we delivered a full admin panel so that the Mamuschka team can manage products, stock, orders and banners on their own.

The result is an online sales operation with automatic notifications, stock alerts and real-time order tracking.
