With digital harassment, hate speech and coordinated attacks on social media on the rise, there was a clear need for a tool that could reconstruct, organize and analyze large volumes of digital interactions.

The challenge was to turn scattered information from X into systematized evidence, in order to identify actors, amplification patterns, discursive tactics and possible forms of institutional involvement in digital attacks.

We developed RIZ, a tool for surveying, classifying and analyzing interactions on X linked to situations of digital violence. The system organizes information about posts, accounts, connections and interactions, and makes it possible to build assessments, network visualizations, indicators and reports that show how these attacks are produced, amplified and sustained in digital environments. The outcome is a working tool for the analysis of digital harassment, able to process large volumes of information, classify actors, reconstruct amplification networks and produce material for technical reports, institutional assessments and prevention and response strategies.
